The beast doesn’t need to transform to be loved. He doesn’t have to turn into a boring fucking prince to be loved. Or renounce to the essence of who it is. To me love is not transformation, love is acceptance and understanding.

why did elmo testify before the congress….

Elmo testified before congress in support of funding for music education programs. (Source)

He also did this while looking incredibly adorable.

Meanwhile a man probably sat crammed under that desk so a puppet could testify I’m laughing too hard

I’m sorry but you seem to be mistaking Elmo for a puppet. Elmo is not a puppet. He is a muppet. A puppet is a man made object and a muppet is a living being. There is nobody under the desk because Elmo is real.

exactly.

@nuttersincorporated muppets are completely different from the puppets on sesame street , sometimes the muppets were on sesame street , but the puppets down on sesame street are not muppets .

Huge court case right now surrounding a girl who talked her boyfriend into killing himself. There seems little doubt that he was already suicidal, but she told him over and over again to just do it, that it would be painless, that he would be happier if he were dead. She chastised him for his second thoughts, even telling him to get back into the car where he was poisoning himself with carbon monoxide, after he’d already gotten out.

All while telling him, over and over again, how much she loved him.

This reminds me of the way the abortion industry treats pregnant women. The logic runs as follows: we have to have the industry in place, because women in desperate situations seek abortion, even if they have to do it themselves. Much better to have a doctor do it to prevent these women from getting hurt or from becoming infected. This claim is in place even among people who are fully aware that abortion ends a human life. It’s a gun to our heads: if we value the women who would do this, we must decide that their children are expendable.

Yet this can only create more abortions. A socially encouraged model for abortion will only make more women end their pregnancies, women who might otherwise have second thoughts or never consider the possibility at all. Making abortion “safe” and legal turns what once was a desperate action into, in many cases, a responsibility. There’s no longer any need for anyone else to provide the woman with help, no need for the school to make accommodations, for the office to provide maternity leave, for the husband or boyfriend to show support–instead, it’s her job to get the abortion. If she doesn’t, she made an eccentric choice and she’s on her own. (Against the accusations that pro-lifers are pro-birth and care about nothing that comes after, I have to wonder what Planned Parenthood is doing for women who keep their pregnancies. Where are the Planned Parenthood Lamaze classes, mother’s group meetings, adoption agencies? Why is it so much easier to dispense free condoms than free diapers?)

This isn’t even taking into account those cases in which abortionists have gone through with an abortion despite the woman’s second thoughts. They’re essentially saying “get back in the car.”

Although thousands of people kill themselves every day, we don’t accept suicide as an inevitable fact of life. Instead, we try as hard as we can to prevent it, and we do so by addressing factors that might lead to suicidal tendencies (stress, depression, mental illness, drug addiction, alcoholism, abuse, etc). This is how we should treat abortion: by asking “what do you need?” and then providing it, whether it’s food, supplies, counseling, medication, an open adoption, a refuge from an abusive spouse or boyfriend. The circumstances that would drive someone to consider taking a life are always what need to go, not the life itself.

ur mom shud have aborted you . a fetus is not a developed human life . i can already bet youre a man so you shouldnt even get to say when women should or shouldnt do . and i bet you eat meat . kinda ridiculous that youll kill a life to eat when science has proved we dont have to , but also have opinion that women should bring children they dont want or cant support full term . bet ur also a pro lifer who has no knowledge on the youth and wouldnt help our youth but keep the embryos alive .

bisexuality is not trans-exclusionary tell ur friends

Bisexuality isn’t trans exclusive but pansexuality includes non-binary, gender fluid, etc.

bisexuality is not non-binary exclusionary tell your friends

“bi” meaning two , means that bisexual means liking to genders , so i guess you can take on gender off and put another one up , but to be bisexual you would only have attraction towards two genders .

I don’t really like to get into discourse, but if I hear this “bi means two” thing one more time I’m going to scream. Yes, it does, you are correct. HOWEVER, bisexuality has always been classified as attraction to two or more genders. Pansexuality is real and valid, but people acting like it’s somehow a “better” or more inclusive bisexuality is…not cool. They’re both great!
